Hi, I’m Alena. I’m a graphic designer currently completing my BFA in Graphic Design at Pratt Institute, with a minor in entrepreneurship. I’ve always been drawn to art, but design became something deeper for me once I realized it could be a way to translate my values, experiences, and discipline into work that connects with people and communities in a meaningful way.

My practice is rooted in brand identity, typography, and packaging, with a strong focus on storytelling and concept-driven design. I’m especially interested in building brands that feel bold, intentional, and emotionally grounded—often centering strength, resilience, and self-expression. Much of my work is driven by a desire to empower women and uplift voices that are often overlooked, creating visuals that feel confident, unapologetic, and human.

My work has been shown and sold at local exhibitions, and my brand Wildfire received a 2024 American Graphic Design Award from GDUSA. I was also featured in Graphic Design USA’s “Students to Watch 2024.”

Outside of design, boxing plays a central role in my life and creative process. The discipline, resilience, and focus I’ve learned through the sport consistently inform how I approach my work—both conceptually and practically. I’m also deeply interested in psychology and mental health, and I care deeply about community involvement and leadership. These influences shape not only what I design, but why I design: to create work that supports, empowers, and connects people through shared strength and experience.
